Refund policy

As a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods. If you ordered multiple goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email):

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by me), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which I am informed of your decision to withdraw.

I will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

I may withhold the reimbursement until I have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earliest.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to:

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. You may inspect the items as you would in a shop but if you use or wear them beyond that, I may deduct compensation for the loss in value from your refund.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery (§ 312g(2) No. 3 BGB). This applies in particular to earrings, which are delivered sealed for hygiene reasons. Once the seal is broken, they cannot be returned.

• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized (e.g. custom jewelry), § 312g(2) No. 1 BGB.

Independently of the right of withdrawal above, you have statutory warranty rights (gesetzliche Mängelhaftung) under German law for a period of two years from delivery.

If an item is defective or not as described, please contact me at jewelrybyelfcloset@gmail.com with your order number and, if possible, photos of the issue. You are entitled, at your choice, to repair or replacement of the item (Nacherfüllung). If repair or replacement fails, is impossible, or is refused, you may reduce the purchase price or withdraw from the contract and receive a refund. Return shipping for defective or incorrectly delivered items is at my expense. I will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your postage. Your statutory rights are not limited by this policy.
